Special Edition Letters to Jackie: Condolences from a Grieving Nation with Free MOBI EDITION!

The reviews are accurate in that the letters themselves do get a little redundant after a while, but the importance of those letters, alongside the additional information, cannot be measured. The letters re very moving, not only for their outpouring of affection, but also for the way they paint so clear a picture of the people from that era and the effect President Kennedy had on this nation in his short time in office. He was truly A Great Man.There isn't much else to say. This book does just what it says on the tin, and it's great for it. If you have any interest in JFK or Jackie, their Camelot, or that era in general (sociologists, cultural anthropologists, historians: this one's for us), pick up this book! I gets 5 stars for being just what it set out to be. Personally, I think I would have preferred simply a list of printed/copied/transcribed letters, with a little less information in between, but I knew that's not what this book was when I got it, and the info itself is not redundant or boring. If you're just after the letters themselves, I'm sure an archive of the letters is available online by now, right? At least in some form, surely...
